MontanaFair is slated for Aug. 10-18 and is full of entertainment for all.
On Friday, Aug. 10, Sublime with Rome helps launch Hot 101.9 Sneak-A-Peek night, headlining the Rimrock Auto Arena at 7 p.m. Sublime’s ska, surf and rock tones have made them icons for over two decades with songs like “What I Got,” and “Santeria.” They bring with them new lead singer, Rome Ramirez, along with fresh hits such as “Panic” and “PCH” off their latest album.
Tickets for this and other concerts are $45 floor, $35 reserved, and $25 general admission. A coupon for $2 off adult tickets is available at fair sponsor locations.
Cellular Plus Day, Saturday, Aug. 11, brings double headliners Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw. Both are known for their talent and amazing acoustic performances.
Caillat is known for her many Billboard chart toppers such as “Bubbly.” DeGraw will perform songs off of his most recent album, “Sweeter,” such as breakout hit “Not Over You.”
On Sunday, Aug. 12, country star Billy Currington comes to MontanaFair at 7 p.m. on the Rimrock Auto Arena stage. This country chart topper is known for hits such as “People Are Crazy,” “Pretty Good at Drinking Beer” and “Must Be Doing Something Right.”
Opening for Billy Currington will be up-and-comers Savannah Jack, who can also be enjoyed at the MontanaFair Pond Stage all week during the fair.
Snapple Day, Tuesday, Aug. 14, marks the third year of Supercross at the MetraPark Grandstands. With a bigger and better track it is sure to be rip-roaring, high-flying action. A new 50/50 raffle allows the audience to get in on a piece of the action.
Ticket prices are set at $20 for reserved, $17 for general admissions and $12 for kids’ general admission. A coupon for $2 off adult tickets is available at fair sponsor locations.
Thursday, Aug. 16, through Saturday, Aug. 18, marks the annual MontanaFair PRCA Yellowstone River Roundup Rodeo at the MetraPark Grandstands at 7 p.m. each night. PRCA cowboys go up against rough stock provided by Sankey Rodeo Co. Tickets are $26 premium reserved, $23 reserved, $16 general admission, $12 kids general admission. A coupon for $2 off adult tickets is available at fair sponsor locations.
MontanaFair enthusiasts are encouraged to “Jump on It” when it come to deals. The MontanaFair ValuPass is better than ever this year with huge savings. $50 gets gate admission for all nine days and a ticket to seven events – Sublime with Rome, Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw, Billy Currington, Supercross, and all three nights of the Yellowstone River Roundup Pro Rodeo. The pass can even be shared with friends and family. Tickets for individual ValuPass events may be upgraded to reserved seating for an additional fee.
Be sure to catch the free entertainment on the grounds while enjoying MontanaFair. This year we have an array of performances, from a cappella to anti-conjuring. Newcomers Dan Sperry, “The Anti-Conjuror”; Home Free, a vocal band; modern country Savannah Jack; and comedy act Alfred and Seymour will all be performing at different times throughout the MontanaFair.
