Bonnie Sue Dunn Hentz, 62, who was an ordained priest in her church, died Aug. 13, 2011, in the Billings Clinic.
She was born July 4, 1949, in Long Beach, Calif., and was raised in California and Montana, graduating from Westminster High School in Westminster, Calif.
She married John Hentz on Nov. 22, 1984, in Hinsdale. They worshipped at Community of Christ Church in Billings, where she was ordained a priest and attended church all her life.
Mrs. Hentz was devoted to her family and to sewing and quilting. She was dedicated to genealogy and traced the family tree to William Bendix, one of the first Pilgrims to come to America on the Mayflower.
She was involved with Church Women United, Prayer Shawl, quilting guilds, the Mayflower Society and church camps.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tammy; a son, Richard; stepchildren, Tom, Ken, Patty, Joe and Sandra; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Orendorff, William Glaser, Beverly Thompson, Barbara Wilson and Donald Glaser.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Community of Christ Church, 332 Griffing Drive in Billings. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel.
