Services will be Sept. 8, 2011, for Faye Ann Hudson Schaffer, 79, who was involved in plays and choirs throughout her life.
She was born April 21, 1932, to Faye Pauline Ungles and James Harvey Buckner in Billings. She graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1951, worked at Mountain Bell Telephone Co. out of high school and became a supervisor.
She married Henry “Bud” Schaffer on Feb. 27, 1954.
Her first public solo was at the age of 5. During high school she was a member of Jobs Daughter. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing when their girls were young.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Ann Clifford of Minneapolis, Jodi Schaffer of Park City, Kris Schaffer Urlacher of Billings and Jami Schaffer Jirak of Wayzata, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation and the Vigil were Sept. 7 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at noon Thursday, Sept. 8, at St Patrick’s Co-Cathedral, 215 N. 31st St.
