Winners of the Rocky Mountain College student writing competition and those whose work has been selected for Soliloquy presented their work and received awards at an evening called “Voices” on Wednesday, April 25, in Fraley Lounge.
Faculty members from the English, art, theater and math programs evaluated 262 submissions from 93 student writers and artists. The Soliloquy student editors reviewed the submissions for inclusion in the 2012 Soliloquy literary journal. Submissions were selected based upon quality and relationship to the theme, “Pandora’s Box.”
Sponsored by the Soliloquy student editors, the Associated Students of Rocky Mountain College (ASRMC), the RMC English program and the Katherine Olson Foundation, there was a strong turnout for “Voices.” Students read from their work, art was displayed and student, EmmaRae King, provided the music.
