Loretta “Lori” Ann O’Connor, 78, of Billings, who had a long career in management in Chicago, died at RiverStone Hospice on Wednesday, Jan 25, 2012.
She was born in Chicago on Jan. 5, 1934, the fifth of sixth children of Michael A. and Florence Mary O’Connor. Her parents were immigrants from Ireland.
She attended St. Timothy Grammar School in the Rogers Park Neighborhood in Chicago and completed high school at St. Scholastica Academy in Chicago and The Marywood School for Girls in Evanston, Ill.
She had a career in management in Chicago with American Airlines and IBM.
She was a Roman Catholic and was enrolled as a secular member of Discalced Carmelite Nuns. Her ordered name was Sister Therese Marie of the Holy Spirit.
Mass of the Resurrection was Jan. 28 at St. Patrick’s Co-Cathedral, with interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
