Norma Platt Freeman, 86, who had traveled the United States and met country music artists, died Jan. 28, 2012.
She was born in Boyd on Aug. 15, 1925, to Richard and Hedwig Platt. After graduating from high school, she attended nursing school in Great Falls.
She married Calvin Dalley, and they had three daughters. He died in 1960, and in 1989 she married James Freeman from Butte, where she lived until his death. She then moved to Billings to be near her daughters and grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters, Cheryle Hunter, Denise Hennelly and Vickie Clayton; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Steiner and Hazel Conway; and a brother, Earle Zumbrun.
At her request, there will be no services. Arrangements were by Cremation and Funeral Gallery.
