Betty Ann Finley Penn, 73, who had worked with Social Services, died Feb. 11, 2012, at Billings Clinic.
She was born to Ralph Marlin and Anna Mae Sturgess Finley in Red Bluff, Calif., on Oct. 7, 1938. She graduated from high school there and married Ron Penn on July 4, 1957, in Reno, Nev.
They had lived in Red Bluff; Beaver Lodge, Alberta, Canada; Dauphin Island, Ala.; Miles City; Spearfish, S.D.;, Spokane, Wash.; and Billings beginning in 1968.
While her husband worked all over the country, she cared for the children and worked at several jobs, the longest at Social Services. She and her husband divorced in 1991.
Survivors include Ron Penn; children, Scott Alan Penn, Michelle Lea Ann, Deanna Marie and Sheri Lee; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were Feb. 18 at Emanuel Baptist Church.
