June Lineback

June Lineback, 91, of Billings, who worked many years as a secretary and volunteered as a Gray Lady, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Billings Clinic Hospital.

The daughter of Eder and Alice McCormick, she was born July 1, 1920, in Winner, S.D. After graduating from high school, she attended secretarial school.

She married Dale Lineback in Sioux City, Iowa, in 1940. He died Sept. 19, 1979.

In 1960, Mr. and Mrs. Lineback moved their family to Billings from Sioux Falls, S.D. She worked many years as secretary at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and later for Dr. McBride’s Optometry Office.

A member of St. Luke’s since 1960, she was active in St. Margaret’s Guild, the Episcopal Church Women and Daughters of the King. For 22 years she had volunteered as a Gray Lady at Billings Clinic.

Survivors include four children, Dale “Dan” Lineback of Billings, Vicki Lineback of Billings, Kerry Donohoe of Federal Way, Wash., and Laurie Dukart of Billings; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church or the Animal Welfare League.
