Elberta Morgan, 82, who opened the second Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream store in Montana, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at her home in Billings.
She was born Sept. 12, 1929, to Elbert and Grace Milam in Billings. She attended school in Huntley and Billings, graduating from Senior High School.
She married Logan Wynne Morgan on July 11, 1948, in Billings. She was a secretary for several years and later she and her husband operated the Chrome Bar in Absarokee and then opened Montana’s second Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Store in Billings.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Sailer; a grandson; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Helen Van Houten and Gladys Ward.
Visitation was March 22 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. A private family service was planned.
