Stephen Bruce Leuthold, 61, who had worked at Quiznos in Billings, died April 17, 2012, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Denver of lung disease.
He was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on July 1, 1950. When he was 7 years old, he was adopted by Albert and Louise Leuthold of Laurel.
He had attended schools in Laurel; Laguna Beach, Calif.; Helena; and St. John’s Academy in Minnesota. He joined the Marines in 1969 and served on an ammunition transport unit in Vietnam for 18 months.
Mr. Leuthold worked 23 years for Cox Cable in Spokane, Wash. He also worked on oil rigs, freight docks, assembly lines and fast food establishments, including Quiznos in Billings.
He had been married and divorced twice and had two children. His favorite activities included camping, boating, parasailing, fishing, building and flying remote-controlled model airplanes, and playing bingo, dominos and darts with friends.
Services will be at noon July 1 at the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church labyrinth.
