Kathryn Glenn, 54, of Eagle River, Alaska, whose specialty was child and family therapy, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.
She was born in Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 24, 1957. She was a mental health counselor, first in Billings, then Barrow, Alaska, and then Anchorage.
She had a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Chapman University. She also had 80 hours in coursework towards a doctorate from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology.
She had rescued many animals over the years and loved antiques.
Survivors include her father, Guy Glenn; and sisters, Carolyn Glenn Walker and Cynthia Glenn.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Private family burial of ashes will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel.
