Mary Eudena “Dena” Roush, who had celebrated her 100th birthday in June with more than 100 friends and relatives attending, died in Billings on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012.
She was born June 14, 1912, in Dawson Springs, Ky., to John and Della Humphreys. As a young child, she moved to Casper, Wyo., where her father was an engineer on the Burlington Railroad. She married Manis Roush in Casper on Oct. 15, 1930. In 1954, the family moved to Billings.
Mrs. Roush was a charter member of the Montana Watercolor Society.
Survivors include a son, Gary Manis Roush of Williamsburg, Va.; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
A private service was planned at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
