Dean Kreitzberg, 74, an air traffic controller until his eyesight pushed him into early retirement, died Oct. 26, 2012.
He was born March 4, 1928, in Hardin to Lewis and Bertha Smith Kreitzberg.
He married Venita Salveson on Friday, July 13, 1941. She died in 2009.
They had three daughters, and from a previous marriage he had a first-born son, Terry, and daughter, Jan.
He had served in the Army Air Corps.
He spent much of the last years building boxes, toys, stools and birdhouses for his great-grandchildren. He also played guitar and sang.
Survivors include children, Terry Kreitzberg of Pensacola, Fla., Jan Gifford of Clarksville, Ark., Debbie Hoffman of Pryor, Christine Stovall of Boyd and Julie Kreitzberg of Pryor; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
