Beatrice Knutson, 92, of Billings, who had farmed and ranched with her husband, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in her home.
The daughter of Hans and Albina Tronstad, she was born Nov. 16, 1919, in Curtiss, Wis., but was raised and educated in Webster. At age 13 she was baptized.
On Sept. 10, 1943, she married Gerald Knutson in Baker. They farmed and ranched near Webster until 1964. In 1974, they moved to Billings where Mr. Knutson died on April 13, 1974.
Survivors include children, Judy Brownson of Billings, Jerry Knutson of Billings, Rebecca Scheie of Billings and Deborah Ottaviano of Tanzania; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Tronstad and Floyd Tronstad; and a sister, Gladys Wicker.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and services will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary with interment in Mountview Cemetery. A reception will follow at First Baptist Church in Laurel.
