Anne Olga Elich, 86, a retired secretary for the FBI, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center in Laurel.
She was born to Antone and Mary Elich on Dec. 29, 1925, on the family farm in Roundup. During high school she worked for the Office of Public Instruction, and she graduated from Roundup High School in 1941. She worked for the FBI as a secretary, beginning in Butte, then New York, N.Y., and eventually Puerto Rico. She went to work for the state of Montana as a secretary for the welfare department in 1971, retiring in the 1980s.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia Anne Elich of Billings, Kyle Lee McGuinness of Port Orchard, Wash., and Maria Theresa Dahl; and three grandchildren.
Her ashes will be scattered at a private family gathering. Arrangements were in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel.
