Dustin Patrick Freese, 16, died Jan. 4, 2013, after being struck by a moving vehicle while walking with a friend.
He was born June 11, 1996, in Bozeman.
He attended Heck and Quaw Elementary and Belgrade Middle schools in Belgrade through seventh grade, then eighth grade at Lockwood Middle School after moving to Billings. He was a sophomore at Billings Senior High School and played freshman and sophomore football.
He loved to fish and caught a 501-pound paddlefish in the spring of 2012. He also hunted and took part in paintball wars.
His organs have been donated.
Survivors include his parents, Brad and Stefeni Freese; a brother, Dillon; and a grandmother, Dorothy Stieg.
Services will be at noon Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Billings Elks Club. Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
Memorials can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Yellowstone County.
