Marion Larsen, 78, of Harlowton, who had worked as a cashier, social worker and certified nursing assistant in Harlowton, died Jan. 6, 2013.
She was born in Park Rapids, Minn., on Dec. 2, 1934, where she grew up on their family farm until marrying Richard Larsen on June 9, 1953.
They lived in Park Rapids for seven years before moving to Montana. They lived in Choteau, Martinsdale, Lennep, Neihart and Two Dot, where she was a homemaker and waitress. In 1978 they built a home in Harlowton where she lived until her death.
She was an active member of American Lutheran Church Women and American Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a sister, Nell Stammer of Sioux Falls, S.D.; children, Terrie Weil of Sand Coulee, Roger Larsen of Gillette, Wyo., and Kaylene Patten of Lewistown; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at American Lutheran Church in Harlowton. Interment will be in Harlowton Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel in Billings.
