Clinton F. Kreiman, 83, of Billings, a retired flight service specialist at Logan Field, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
He was born in Adams County, N.D., on Oct. 13, 1929, the middle son of Alvin Kreiman and Vesta McKnight. He spent his childhood in Helena, where he married Joanne Peck on June 24, 1950. He was drafted into the Army on Jan. 25 of the next year.
When he returned to Helena, he worked for 13 years as a stereotyper for the Helena Independent-Record. He and his wife raised three children, Carolyn Gransberg of Billings, Edward Kreiman of Havre and Fred Kreiman of Chapman, Kan.
The family moved to Billings in 1966, where Mr. Kreiman began his second career as a flight service specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration. He retired in 1991.
He was an amateur golfer and was a talented builder, welder and spray painter.
