Scott Monsadius Hatzenbihler, 46, a refinery operator and pipefitter, died at his home on Aug. 31, 2013, of cancer.
He was born Oct. 12, 1966, in Mandan, N.D., the youngest of 10 children of Monsadius and Cecelia Hatzenbihler. He graduated from high school in Center, N.D., in 1984 and married Trudy Sack on June 6, 1992. He worked for Mobil Oil Co. and Conoco for more than 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Trudy Hatzenbihler; three children, Grant, Chase and Paige; his father, Monsadius Hatzenbihler; and nine siblings, Jill Bosch, Neal Hatzenbihler, Dean Hatzenbihler, Kevin Hatzenbihler, Arliss Mahrer, Gail Morton, Denise Brorby, Raylene Vettel and Brian Hatzenbihler.
Services were Sept. 4 at St. Bernard’s Parish, 226 Wicks Lane. Vigil services were Sept. 3 at St. Bernard’s.
A Scott Hatzenbihler Memorial Fund has been established with First Interstate Bank Heights Branch, 730 Main St., to assist with the education of his children.
