Phyllis J. Whitesell, 75, formerly of Billings, who worked many years in medical offices, died in her sleep on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at her son’s home in Columbus.
She was born Feb. 17, 1938, in Carson, N.D., to Phillip and Leah (Chittick) Balliet of Carson, N.D. She was a homemaker for more than 30 years, raising her children.
She worked for medical offices starting with Western Montana Medical Clinic in Ronan, then Billings Oncology and Orthopedic Surgeons for more than 25 years.
Survivors include a brother, Richard Balliet of Carson, N.D.; a daughter, Robin Jean Whitesell of Billings; two sons, David Charles of Stevensville and Richard Patrick of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
Services and burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Carson, N.D. Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
