Glenn Russell Kirkpatrick, 79, who had worked most recently for Yellowstone Electric, died Dec. 29, 2013.
He was born on a homestead in Sentinel Butte, N.D., on Aug. 6, 1934, to Ralph Theodore Kirkpatrick and Almira Odense (Myhre) Kirkpatrick. He was educated in North Dakota and Montana.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War aboard the destroyer USS Lowery. He had worked for Mountain Bell, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Yellowstone Electric.
He married Carol Campbell on May 3, 1957. He was an avid fly fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Russell Kirkpatrick; a daughter, Laura Pust; a brother, Ralph Duane Kirkpatrick; a sister, Karen Marie Peterson; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 24 at Faith Chapel. A luncheon will follow. Interment will be later. Arrangements are by Cremation and Funeral Gallery.
