Carol E. Larson, 87, who worked as a nurse’s aide before becoming a homemaker, died Jan. 18, 2014.
She was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Portal, N.D., and lived most of her young years in Lignite, N.D. Her parents were Jacob and May (Hinn) Sayler.
She attended Northwest Bible College in Minot, N.D., and married Carl L. Larson on Nov. 23, 1947. They made their home in Ray, N.D., and moved to Billings in 1956.
Mrs. Larson worked as a nurse’s aide for St. Vincent Hospital and St. John’s Lutheran Home during the winter months while her children were in school and in later years was a homemaker.
She was always involved in her church. She led music, taught Sunday school and sang in a trio.
Survivors include a daughter, Carletta Larson Neubauer; a son, Carl Larson; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Blom and Donna Love; and a stepfather, Roy Blom.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Dahl Funeral Chapel with a luncheon to follow.
