John ‘Jack’ Brown

John Thomas Brown, 83, of Billings, who volunteered at the Peter Yegen Museum, died Jan. 17, 2014, from complications of pneumonia.

Born in Lewistown on July 1, 1930, he graduated from St. Leo’s Catholic High School and from the University of California, Los Angeles, with an art degree.

He worked in advertising in California.

Mr. Brown served in the Navy from 1951-1954. He retired to Billings 19 years ago with his wife.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Margaret “Peggy” Brown; and three children, Mark Brown, Michele James and Michael Brown, all of Billings.

Services will be at noon Friday, Jan. 24, at St. Patrick’s Co-Cathedral. Private family interment of ashes will take place later. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel.
