Edward A. Pleasant, 91, of Billings, who had served in the Navy during three wars, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
He was born in Roxboro, N.C., on June 21, 1922, the son of Currie A. Pleasant and Thelma Bradsher Pleasant of Fuquay Varina, N.C.
He served in the Navy during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. On Dec. 1, 1982, he retired from the Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Josie Lefebre Pleasant. He had received care from St. John’s Lutheran Ministries.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services with military honors were held Feb. 24 at Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Inurnment followed in the Absaroka Beartooth Columbarium in the chapel at Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
