Help sought in investigation

RED LODGE – Carbon County sheriff's deputy, Lt. Josh McQuillan asked Wednesday for the public's assistance in locating a car being sought in connection with a suspicious death investigation.  McQuillan identified the victim, who was found in the Clark's Fork of the Yellowstone River Tuesday morning, as Jack Dale Butke, 79, of Fromberg.

"We're looking for a 1991 grey Subaru Legacy wagon bearing the Montana license plate 10-207," McQuillan said. "The vehicle was last seen at around 8 p.m. on June 14 in Fromberg.  Its front right blinker light is broken out."

McQuillan has asked anyone with any information about this vehicle or the victim to contact the Carbon County Sheriff's Office at 446-1234.

The Carbon County Sheriff's Office received a report at 9 p.m. on Monday June 15 that Butke, who suffered from dementia, was missing.  Butke's car and dog were also reported missing.

Butke's body was found in the Clark's Fork River near Silesia on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

The Carbon County Sheriff's Office has requested investigative assistance from the Montana Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation.

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world.
